It’s our understanding that drinking aerated and flowing water encourages cats to drink and that keeping them well hydrated is apparently the key to prevention of many ailments. We’ve had several fountains throughout the years but I’ve never been completely convinced that having the fountain actually encouraged more frequent trips to the watering station until now.
